I was looking through some Army tabs and courses. One of the things that could be a reasonable course to have is the Combat Engineer (12B) school and Sapper course to earn the Sapper tab. In my mind for AAPG, this would be a designation for people to be the ones to grab/plant the bomb, I think that would make for more of an easier time for Leaders to designate who goes where and does what.

This is also Something that could be implemented into Alpha Company since their realism is obviously a lot more out-reaching than our own.

This was just something I thought should be in discussion, I'm sure this has been brought up before, just wanted to know what everyone thought of the idea.

Update: I also forgot to mention that this would also effect CID as well Since Combat Engineers are not regular Infantry, they would not have the Blue shoulder cord, but in fact a light gray cord.

I'm not sure how CID would be involved with that considering CID is Combat Imaging & documentation but COE could possibly work since its the Corps of Engineers.

Okay makes sense now my bad got a little confused lol but yeah we can make almost anything happen in CID but at the end of the day it depends on what C-Staff and higher want.

Yeah, I don't see this being used any time soon, a school/training would have to be made for it, then with the creation of the job, it would have to mean Ops/FTXs would have a bomb plant/defuseal element at least 30-40% of the time and that would probably mess with what C-staff have already made for this Operation. But maybe it could be something for the future.
