E-Tool not working

I noticed on sunday's op. Nobody was able to dig in. Don't know if everyone was having that issue or maybe it was just the terrain. But the E-tool just wasn't working.

I believe it was due to the terrain of the map, it was an issue presented several times to us in 2PL HQ

Possibly the map. It might be the module or something isn't down (which I doubt) or is just the fact that the map can't handle it, which doesn't make sense...

1LT isin't far off, Map team found that it was not mission related but map related. Multiple maps have the same issue and they are working on a solution.

Every map should work except the hindukush and the DLC Malden the cup Malden works just fine

Like #SGT E.Rhodes said, the "issue" is actually just a matter of ground texture. The Hindu Kush map is made up of a hard top level, which ACE treats as undiggable -- just as it treats concrete, rock, et cetera. To fix the issue one would probably need to remake the map.

Yeah thats true, how about no.

 

#CPL T.Bacoon did you check if the next maps we deploy on do work with the E-Tool? Otherwise we may save some weight, or switch it out against something we could require more.
