Effective immediately Public Affairs Office will begin a face lift as a DMOS. Under the new leadership of Sergeant Peter Fransson as NCOIC and Lieutenant Colonel John LaFlash as OIC PAO will open hiring for all position. At its current state Public Affairs Office will need dedicated soldiers to help bring what is dubbed the face of the unit back to what it was. 



Public Affairs Office fulfills the unit's obligation to keep the people and the unit informed, and helps to establish the conditions

that lead to confidence in our realism unit and its readiness to conduct operations in peacetime, conflict and war.


Journalist (46Q) (Minimum rank requirement PV2)


Publish promotion ceremony news

Publish news on basic training/ skill courses conducted

Publish news about operations we partake in

Publish news about public play session which would be hosted

Create recruitment ads for the use of Recruiting and Retention Office


Broadcast Combat Journalists (46R) (Minimum rank requirement PV2)


Record operation videos

Take picture of promotion ceremonies

Create recruitment videos

Record drill and FTX if ordered by higher ranks


Communications Specialist (46N) (Minimum rank CPL)

Provide media training for leaders and other members of PAO.

Respond to media queries.

Plan and coordinate community events such as Pubathon.

Evaluate the effectiveness of communication activities.

Supervise Journalists and Broadcast Combat Journalists.

Advise senior leaders on the implications of unit actions.

Communicate news and information to the internal military audience.

Communicate, coordinate, and gain the support of the American Public, other units, and external communities.

Maintain wiki page.

Maintain Social Media pages - Facebook, Steam, Arma Clans, Youtube, etc


If assigned to the PAO, you will be expected to complete all assigned projects as ordered and will be responsible for checking the forums on a daily basis.
