Presence Patrol #11
Situation
Last week, First Platoon "Widowmakers" was able to find intels about enemy movements. We found out that the enemy is moving in the west, where most of the settlements are. The "33ème Régiment des commandos Parachutistes" (33rd Regiment of Commandos para) of the Malian army is fighting a strong enemy force in the city of Bakaho. First Platoon "Widowmakers" must secure their flank and reinforce them.
Mission
Alpha Company "War Eagles", First Platoon "Widowmakers" will be tasked with boarding aircraft near the city of Quinhamel where the platoon camped last week, 3CAB will have to be ready to transport the platoon by 1500 with two CH-47F Chinook. Once boarded, both transports will land east of the city of Sussundenga. From there, Platoon will be clearing cities of Sussundenga (OBJ MURGESE), Chimoio (OBJ BRETON) and proceed with reinforcing the Malian forces in Bakaho before counter-attacking. We also received intels that an IDAP camp is within the city, if required, to help defend it.
(1) Board the airframes in Quinhamel in order to be transported to the western side of the AO.
(2) Land at LZ ABACO and move toward OBJ MURGESE to clear it
(3) Move to OBJ BRETON in Chimoio and secure it
(4) Once the flank is safe, move to Bakaho and help the Malians
(5) If needed, help defend the IDAP camp.
(6) Counter-attack and clear Bakaho from GSIM presence.
