Situation
You will be tasked with regaining contact with a lost convoy and complete a humanitarian mission before you will be tasked by local forces.
Mission
After last week's success, a FOB was created in the town of Barzia where the old Livonian FOB had stood. This will be our new point of advance from here on out.
As for your mission, you will be tasked with regaining communication with a small convoy who were sent out to deliver medical supplies to the town of Granichak, some ways away from the FOB. Currently we have no contact with the convoy and will need it reestablished. This is OBJ Rome
Once contact has been made with the friendly forces or their whereabouts located on OBJ Rome, you will continue to the city of Granichak and deliver the medical supplies. We have outfitted you with two spare trucks in case the friendly convoy has not fared well. These supplies will be delivered to the hospital, marked as OBJ Ravena. The trucks will be left in the care of the local law enforcement upon arrival.
At Ravena, you will be greeted by local law enforcement who will brief you more closely regarding your final objective. This is known as OBJ Carthage. What S2 currently knows about OBJ Carthage is that it is a gathering of enemy troops or the possible start of a FOB in that area. We cannot allow the Livonians to gain any more footholds and we must make sure that FOB is not created. The local Police Commander will give you more recent intel on this objective when you meet with him. He will also brief you at what capacity the enemy are at, but S2 has a rough estimate of troops and equipment.
Overall resources in the region varies, but S2 has been gathering intel regarding roaming Livonian patrols and convoys that ambush friendly forces. So far those have consisted of mostly mechanized and sizable infantry detachments, a platoon or two. Our intel also suggests there may be armor in the area, though we have not been able to narrow down where this said armor may be located, though this is not a great number, but be alert about possible tanks. Currently we suspect it might be near OBJ Carthage. For OBJ Carthage we suspect there may be a sizable garrison of two-four platoons worth, though our estimates are uncertain.
Be warned that with the recent hostile activity of the Livonians, the civilian population have grown more bold. Local Police forces have warned us regarding civilian IEDs along known travel routes of the Livonians. So keep your eyes open.
