Situation:
The US Army was able to keep the GSIM forces outside of Marwey and its valuable airfield. Still, GSIM forces keep raiding and attacking the city. Recently, they've been able to attack it with BM-21 rocket launchers.Mission:
Alpha Company "War Eagles", First Platoon "Widowmakers" will be tasked with relieving a friendly US Platoon in the city of Walada, Southeast of Marwey. There is a high risk of GSIM conducting ambushes and setting up checkpoints on the road from Marwey to Walada. Once the friendly Platoon has been relieved, First Platoon will capture the city (OBJ DONKEY) and then move to OBJ GOOSE to find and destroy the two BM-21. There is a high chance of enemy AA in the area, so proceed accordingly. (a) Convoy to Walada. Malian government did not authorized any checkpoint on the road. ROE is to engage any checkpoint on the road. High risk of ambushes. (b) Relieve the friendly platoon. Do not provide medical care or resupply to the friendly platoon, immediately proceed with clearing the town. (c) Once the city is secured, move to Objective Goose and destroy any enemy equipment, including the two BM-21s, radio communication material and AA sites.Intel:
