For exceptionally meritorious achievement while serving in Platoon leadership throughout the calendar year 2025, each of the individuals recognized demonstrated outstanding performance, significantly contributing to the overall success of the Company. Their commitment to learning and adaptability ensured seamless integration within the Company's standards and operations. The efforts of these individuals have been instrumental in fostering clear communication, shared objectives, and disciplined execution across the formation. The Platoon leadership upheld unit standards, developed future leaders, managed multiple elements, and consistently led from the front during both combat and DMOS operations. Their influence and support have been vital to the development and professionalism of over 70 personnel, ensuring the unit remains at the forefront of excellence over the last 11 months of FTX and operations. Without their dedication, resilience, and focus, our Platoons and Company would not have achieved the current level of success we currently have seen. Each individual mentioned has made sacrifices that surpass the expectations of service within the unit, regardless of whether they were formally in position or temporarily fulfilling roles. This exemplifies their commitment to the 3rd ID Realism MILSIM. Through their adaptability, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to excellence, SSG Nagy, SFC Ivanov, CW3 Lotus, OCS Fox, 2LT Byrd, and 2LT Duck have made a significant and positive impact on unit effectiveness, leadership cohesion, and mission success. Their actions reflect great credit upon themselves, the unit, and the United States Army, warranting the award of the Meritorious Service Medal.

For work in both RRO and COE; Staff Sargent Nagy has been at the forefront of this Units Recruiting and Retention DMOS for almost 2 whole years. During that time SSG Nagy has performed his duty as 79R to perfection, earning him the title of NCOIC, or 79X, after just about 6 months while being in the DMOS. The SSG has been at the center of all the good and the bad during this time, and overall due to his extreme attention to detail this unit has seen growth and success since he entered the NCOIC position. However, the SSG decided that in June 2025, he needed an additional challenge and joined COE as a 12T. In his time within COE the soldier has put in numerous hours of voluntary work to keep the unit running, not only from a recruitment side, but also from the server side. SSG Nagy has put in about 40-60 HOURS in the past month to upkeep the server, writing bots to help with streamlining, figure out fixes to issues under extreme tight time pressure, All while working on the 2nd Server and making sure it runs to the unit's liking. The Staff Sargent went above and beyond all metrics for both his time in RRO, and COE. He’s the shining example of what giving your all truly means, without this Soldier the unit would be looking severely different to how it's looking right now.

During Shaping Operation 6, Griffins HQ was tasked with providing support to Wizards squad, which had taken significant casualties while defending the south side of the city. Upon HQ's arrival, triage was swiftly initiated and a CCP established. While other casualties were moved back to the CCP to provide security, SSG Nagy and 2LT Duck pushed back out toward the direction of enemy contact to recover two downed soldiers in difficult to reach positions. While 2LT Duck provided overwatch, SSG Nagy descended onto exposed rock faces under direct enemy fire and successfully extracted the first casualty into cover, where they were evacuated by members of Wizards. Without hesitation, the two continued forward to retrieve the second casualty, requiring SSG Nagy to climb down a cliff face into a suspected minefield. During this effort, both men sustained serious injuries, SSG Nagy was struck in the chest, resulting in a sucking chest wound, while 2LT Duck suffered a massive avulsion to his left arm from grenade shrapnel. Despite their wounds, 2LT Duck continued to return effective fire, neutralizing the enemy position and evading remaining hostiles. Once out of immediate danger, he joined SSG Nagy in the ravine, and together they maneuvered the second casualty back toward friendly lines. Under continued risk, 2LT Duck provided covering fire against an approaching enemy squad while SSG Nagy successfully extracted the wounded soldier to safety. Through their shared valor, determination, and refusal to leave any comrade behind, all casualties were recovered to the CCP and survived their wounds. Their actions directly enabled the operation’s continued success. For their gallantry and wounds sustained in combat, SSG G. Nagy and 2LT Duck are each awarded the ARCOM with C Device.
