Sergeant George Nagy
Sergeant (SGT) George Nagy began his distinguished service with the 3rd Infantry Division on October 8, 2023, as a Fireteam Member in Alpha Company, Second Platoon, First Squad. Demonstrating natural leadership and commitment to excellence, he advanced to Assistant Squad Leader and later to Squad Leader by February 2025, where he currently leads First Squad with exceptional discipline and tactical proficiency.
Throughout his service, SGT Nagy has held a wide range of critical roles. He served with distinction as an Aviation Crew Chief and Air Traffic Control Operator within the 2nd Battalion, 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion and 3rd Combat Aviation Detachment Headquarters, ensuring safe and effective air operations. His multifaceted skillset also led him to contribute significantly in multiple DMOS roles: as a 46Q - Journalist and 46S - Anchor in S6 - Public Affairs, and as 79X - Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) in S1 - Recruiting and Retention.
