After action report

Objectives:

Provide Transport, resupply and Interdiction aircraft.

Accidents:

lost 1x eagle to AA from OBJ Boulle. First blackhawk was disabled by AA from OBJ Boulle before being gathered and returned to base for repairs.

Areas of Strength:

Good comms with ground to keep coordination of reinserts and supplies to the Ao. Committing to the urgent interdiction of escaping arms dealer, quickly gathering up the interdiction team before stopping the vehicle.

Summary:

Falcons were on standby to support the infantry company and platoon. Initially providing recon with 'Eagle' to the first OBJ 'tarta' until the infantry arrived there and ending contact with the informant. After which the drone moved to secondary OBJ 'boulle' but shortly after scouting the location, the drone was engaged by a man portable missile launcher and destroying the craft.

With the platoon deciding to move for the primary OBJ 'pinch' and the arms deal that was occurring there. Falcon then went into reinserting and resupply, making deliveries to LZ cucumber. Even returning a damaged Stryker back to bases with a 'Bison' chinook during one reinsert. While the platoon was clearing OBJ pinch falcons was able to assemble a reserve drone to send up and support infantry further. 

With the platoon having gained control of OBJ 'pinch', falcon was called in to gather a interdiction team to chase down the escaping russian arms dealer. Catching up to the escaping vehicle and firing warning shots before the vehicle til it stopped, then landing and deploying the team to snatch the HVT.. before all people were returned to the heli and promptly flown back to the FOB DR Jones for imprisonment. Giving the interdiction team a break to heal and resupply before being flown out to LZ 'Aubergine' to rejoin the platoon for the final attack on OBJ 'Boulle'.

While stallion was flying back, was targeted and engaged by the same shoulder mounted missile soldier with two missiles.. the first being defeated by counter measures, while the second did impact and damage the aircraft to be softly landed. During which time 'Eagle found and counter engaged the shooter, killing and breaking the enemy and equipment. With the mayday call sent out, Bison was sent out to reclaim the downed blackhawk. As bison arrived the first unknown vehicle arrived, with one armed yet unidentified man moving to the aircraft.. being uncertain of their intent and already close, Griffin 1 was  permitted to shoot and killed the man. Giving bison time to drop sling ropes and hook up the downed blackhawk, but the hooks fail to hold. After which point a second truck, with another man of more hostile alignment arrived and again permitted Griffin 1 to engage and kill the man, this as well causing bison to wave off to make room incase they targeted the chinook instead. And as bison was coming back around to align with the blackhawk, the third vehicle arrived with four men, whom were most certainly hostile, and killed. Finally the chinook was able to hook up the blackhawk and lifted safely back to base for repairs from the engineering corps. 

After which point the mission was called complete, Aviation picked up the platoon from the field and airlifted them back to the base for debrief and end of mission.
