    Objectives:

Retrieve Intel from OBJ Tartu, interrupt an arms dealer and capture a HVT "The Russian" at OBJ Pinsk

    Accidents:

1x Stryker HMG destroyed. Missing intel on WIA/KIA.

    Areas of Strength:

Quick reaction force - Widowmakers were able to quickly establish a quick reaction team to try and prevent the HVT from escaping, Leadership succession - Squad members were informed about immediate tasking and were able to take leadership in the event of a downed SL or TL,

    Areas of Weakness:

Too many casualties - Squads need to be slower and more methodical in CQB to prevent casualties and thus increase speed in the long run, Vehicles entering the town - Vehicles are supposed to stay safe outside the town, it is near-impossible to cover all the alleys and compounds a vehicle is passing, any of those could have an RPG and destroy the asset,

    Suggested Improvements:

The town itself felt a little bit too populated with enemies. Perhaps a slightly weaker enemy force at the secondary objective and a stronger force at the final objective would've made the mission feel more balanced.

    Overall Outcome:

    Positive

    Summary:

Widowmakers left FOB Dr.Jones in stryker convoy heading North towards OBJ Tartu. Here squads established a quick overwatch while Phoenix moved in to an abandoned house to collect some intelligence. There was no contact at the objective, nor visible from our overwatch. The intel contained information of OBJ Boulle, which was a human trafficking group which was believed to have civilian hostages. Widowmakers got the order to continue with our plan to complete OBJ Pinsk first and then check it out later if there was enough time.

So the platoon moved further North to OBJ Pinsk. The city of Samari was split into 4 sectors and each squad was assigned responsibility of a sector. During the initial breaches it was clear that Widowmakers had found themselves overwhelmed by enemy fire. Squads started collapsing into a single sector and instead of attacking from different sides, the platoon moved through the town South to North. Squads took a lot of casualties and CCPs were established. Eventually the platoon got to the center of the objective, where a large ammo cache and vehicle storage were kept. One of the drones spotted a vehicle leaving the area and so a QRF was formed to intercept said vehicle. While the platoon was finishing off the last buildings, the QRF team consisting of a small team of experts in different fields were put into a blackhawk and started their chase.

Once the platoon finished clearing the buildings, explosives were set on the caches and vehicles and most of it was destroyed. Meanwhile, word reached the platoon that the QRF team was successful in their interception and captured The Russian. He was transported to FOB Dr. Jones for processing.

With fresh fuel in the Strykers, the platoon moved West, to OBJ Boulle. On arrival the town was only lightly defended by GSIM individuals. No sign of any civilians but the presence of what looked like an execution site meant that Widowmakers were too late. It was a tactical decision of preventing the GSIM heavy weapons vs saving local population. The platoon regrouped and were air lifted back to base.
