    Areas of Strength

    Good focus and team work with the members that showed up. The PID drill and revise of tactics provided by S2 will be very beneficial for the Squad in the future.

    Areas of Weakness

    Attendance was an issue today. More unexcused abscesses then i expected for this.

    Suggested Improvements

    Continue to push for high activity and push members out that are inactive.

    Mission Summary

    The group started with elevator drills (loading and unloading in a helicopter in the same spot) to ensure new sops would be implemented and understood. From there we moved into a terrain walk where i took Scorpions and Spartans to talk through the terrain and how it will effect a battle in the future in the upcoming FTX's. What is beneficial and not beneficial as a unit in the new terrain. After that we went through a PID class where SSG Grigorov showed us the new enemy uniforms and how they act different from current forces we had been facing. We then conducted a live fire lane moving to 2 objectives and getting PID on them to ensure they are friendly or enemy. We were able to effectively ID the two forces and avoided any friendly fire. We then found an enemy base and worked with suppressing a target as 3CAB eliminated armored targets in a combined arms live fire.
