Objectives

OBJ Elder is an abandoned village. We are tasked with going in and securing a large load of ordinance left behind by retreating enemy forces. There is a minefield around the town so we need to approach it carefully. 

OBJ Pension is a civilian town we are to deliver aid to. The locals are friendly towards us so we need to make sure to keep said relations. The town itself is free and unoccupied by hostile forces. 

OBJ Senior is in an unknown state. Last we heard it was still unoccupied, but that intel is outdated. An enemy mechanized platoon has also been seen in the area. 

OBJ Old Man is a neutral town. We plan to try and win their favor with a supply run. While no hostiles have been seen in the area, the relative position of the town is close to an enemy fuel supply post. 

Accidents

3rd Squad running over my guys during Convoy practice, 2nd Squad ran into our stryker during an ambush during the operation.

Areas of Strength

With somewhat small numbers being an issue (3 people have left all servers but must wait the 3 weeks to discharge them and were empty slots) our squad did very well in all portions of the operation. We were able to react to contact well in multiple situations, conduct battle drill 1A effectively and avoid having any true mass CAS situations (outside of the accident with 2nd Squad). 

Areas of Weakness

We do need new recruits to backfill the large movement of personnel from the squad and unit. As it stands, our squad has the lowest number of people and to include the 3 members that have completely disappeared and 1 that avoids operations, we are now sitting at roughly 10.

Suggested Improvements

Continue to push new members to Scorpions so we can grow back up to a full working Squad.

Mission Summary

Scorpions initially began the operation assisting and participating in convoy drills. Outside of the incident with 3rd Squad during the practice everything went well. We then pushed into the first objective where Scorpions pushed to their blocking position after guiding the platoon past an IED. We were ambushed as we pushed to our ambush position and eliminated the enemy ambush team. From there We held position until the platoon caught back up and completed the objective tasks. We then moved to the next objective where we pushed Scorpions into the town on the southwest portion where we were ambushed by over a squad of Russian troops. From there we were reinforced by 2 other Squads and reconsolidated. From there we pushed to the next objective where we were ambushed on the road and 2nd Squad crashed in the back of our vic that lost its engine and killed the entire squad. We then were reinserted and assisted in the recovery of a downed helicopter. Then we pushed back and conducted the AAR.
