Situation:
During the mission Unshackled Sky, First Platoon Widowmakers retrieved a destroyed MQ-9 Reaper drone in the Agadez Region. While the black box was secured, the payload of the drone couldn't be found. Yesterday, at 1700, local informant told us of the presence of a fortified and very prolific IED factory in the village of Bramataro (OBJ Hazard). It is believed that GSIM forces may be mixing explosive with chemicals. The IED factory is very close to the GSIM garrison of Mandalari (OBJ Wippy). Intelligence believes that the GSIM might be trying to produce a very powerful bomb with the stolen GBU-12 Paveway II.Mission:
First Platoon is tasked with securing both OBJ Hazard (IED Factory) and OBJ Wippy (Enemy Outpost). First Platoon is not tasked with destroying the IED factory, but with securing it so the EOD squad can defuse any explosives. USE OF EXPLOSIVE IS STRICLY FORBIDDEN WITHIN OBJ HAZARD, it is believed that GSIM is using highly volatile material and Malian government told AFRICOM that they want to be able to use those infrastructures after the conflict.Intel:
