Congratulations to the soldiers of Squad Designated Marksman Course ( SDM ) 25-03 ( ARMA 3 ) for their successful completion of class
These soldiers have acquired the knowledge and skills of extended marksmanship with a scope using the advanced ballistics system in ACE. The SDM's role is to supplement the squad by providing accurate fire upon enemy targets at distances up to 600 meters ( 660 yds ).
The SDM are trained in scouting and precise shooting and within the squad as an element available to the Squad Leader.
These soldiers have now earned the right to be a Squad Designated Marksman and to utilize the M14 or any other SDM weaponry and equipment HOOAH !
