During Combat Mission Spider, 1st and 2nd Platoon were under heavy Artillery fire resulting in a Company wide mass casualty event where roughly 30-40% of the Company was effectively combat ineffective. During this time, 2LT Duck and "Soldiers name" were cut off from the rest of their Platoon due to the Artillery barrage. Despite this 2LT Duck decided to take SPC Koe and hunt down the artillery that is rendering the Company ineffective. During their hero like suicide mission, the 2LT and SPC used their extensive training as Recon to find a safe passage to the marked artillery position, move behind enemy lines, always being passed by enemy vehicles and foot soldiers. After a roughly 2-3km long run, they finally arrived at the marked artillery. The 2LT and SPC slowly moved up towards the artillery piece, passing hostile foot patrols around the artillery. After getting close enough to use AT4s both Soldiers started firing at 2 of the 3 Artillery guns, destroying them. Despite killing 2 out of 3 Artillery guns, both soldiers' vendetta didn't end. They made sure to neutralize every hostile enemy, including the foot patrols, to then place demo charges onto the last standing artillery piece. With both Soldiers actions, the Company was able to pull themselves back together and continue the fight, pushing back the enemy and resulting in the win of the battle. Without 2LT Duck and SPC Koe's courage the Company would have lost this battle and would have been forced to retreat.

Koe has excelled this operation in his role of Anti-Tank, and has embodied the ethos of striving for perfection that all in the second platoon should aim for. His continued self-reflection and improvement as an AT gunner is outstanding and his ability to proactively anticipate orders without stepping over the line of wandering off unaccounted for truly makes him stand out as a specialist in his role. Koe’s excellence has on several occasions wiped out entire armored columns, with a record of 12 kills in 14 rockets in a single operation, with many targets being at over a kilometer, and moving. For setting the example that all in the second platoon should strive for, he is being awarded this Arcom with V device.
