During operation Northern lights, FItzgerald has excelled at any role asked of him, both Primary and Secondary. His dedication to excellence and self-improvement is the embodiment of the ethos and culture in Griffins, and should be used as an example for all members to follow. Fitzgerald’s exemplary performance as an Assistant Squad leader has developed his squad into a well-oiled machine and the camaraderie and retention speak volumes for his ability in his role, not to mention the tactical efficacy of the squad. The unwavering support base he provides for platoon leadership to trust his management and judgement for Wizards has been invaluable in allowing the wider development of the platoon and the teamwork and coordination between the platoons can only be possible because of his hard work supporting HQ from the ground up. For his service, he is being awarded this ARCOM.

SGT B.Fitzgerald during Operation Snowstorm, was tasked with flanking an enemy recon team with his fire team. After killing them they immediately started to be bombarded with IDF. The fire team ran back for cover while spreading out. After deploying smokes a mortar round landed in front of the SGT breaking his arms and causing massive hemorrhaging along with chest wounds. Fitzgerald stood up in time to watch a Mortar round land on the medic who was trailing behind. Without hesitation, SGT Fitzgerald ran into the IDF to rescue his medic. At the same time another enemy recon team began to shoot at the medics body - Fitzgerald with broken arms killed the enemies, located the medic, and carried medics body to run him 150m through gunfire and more IDF, back to safety and began checking on his team and triaging injuries resulting in saving the medics life.
