Throughout the entire campaign, the SPC has shown great personal growth and development in proving he knows how to do his job as well as others. There have been periods of time where MartÃnez would need to step up to bat with being the fireteam leader and he has excelled at doing so. The SPC is always ready for action and proves he is ready for leadership everytime the opportunity presents itself.

During Operation Northern lights SPC F.Ramirez and SPC D.Hughson were extremely efficient with medical and combat skills, making sure each and every squad member is healed and ready for combat, Teaching all squad members about medical procedures and making sure everyone is prepared for combat.

During Mission Roman Empire, First Squad’s Stryker was hit by an explosive resulting in the Squad Leader and Squad Medic being KIA, seconds after the Stryker was blown up, a stationary machine gun tore through four more people from First Squad, resulting in a mass casualty event where both team leaders were incapacitated as well as the Squad Leader and Squad Medic. PFC Ramirez was acting CLS and was able to take command of what remained of First Squad, working to coordinate medical assistance as well as getting on the platoon communications to receive orders and communicate with the other squads that were continuing the attack on the objective. If not for PFC Ramirez’s quick thinking and dedication, more than half of First Squad would have been killed. His expertise, knowledge, and dedication are in keeping with the highest military traditions and reflect great credit upon himself, First Platoon Widowmakers, Alpha Company Wareagles, and the 3rd Infantry Division.

During mission Benelux friendly Chinook was shot down right in front of 1st Squad. SPC Kidon and Ramirez moved under fire without any hesitation to damaged aircraft to save everyone they could. While under fire, they managed to get the pilot out of Chinook. For the next several long minutes, taking hits from enemies, they were stabilizing this pilot and doing everything they could to save him. While heavily wounded themselves, they still continued to work on casualty and only after bringing him up to life they moved back to the trench to deal with their injuries. With their actions both of these soldiers proved that they were in the right place at the right time to successfully assist Soldiers from another element. His expertise, knowledge, and dedication are in keeping with the highest military traditions and reflect great credit upon himself, First Platoon Widowmakers, Alpha Company Wareagles, and the 3rd Infantry Division.
