On February 1st, these individuals hosted a practice OSUT in order "to become proficient in teaching and instructional procedures". These cadre also helped leadership by coming up with vital ideas for how OSUTs can be run better and come up with solutions to common problems. Having cadre in S3 that are willing to improve themselves, strategize, and get to know the other staff in their shop are extremely vital in this DMOS.

CPL Swoop has recently gone above and beyond in his duties by spearheading an initiative for the platoon’s training and development. Seeking inspiration from the real-life ‘Robin Sage’ exercise, he took it upon himself to develop a similar environment with the intention to allow members of second platoon to train in realistic scenarios as optional extra events outside of operations. In addition to this, Swoop has also created a field-quiz which has been received well during drills, to ensure members of the platoon are understanding at a deep level why our doctrine is structured in the way it is. For his devotion to the platoon and his initiative in shaping the way we are performing our training, he is being recognized with this ARCOM.

Throughout the early parts of Operation Northern Lights, Swoop acted as a consistent sturdy base for others to lean on within the team, providing a measured perspective and being dependable in giving expertly timed advice for other members of the platoon. Following a demand for new leadership in Warlocks, Swoop answered the call in the time of need and stepped up to learn this new role. His dedication to overcoming difficulties, and his flawless understanding of when and where to point out mistakes in a training environment, has made him an invaluable asset to the platoon, and has been instrumental in Warlocks’ flourishing. For his determination, support and service, he has earned himself this ARCOM.
