For heroic achievement while serving as a Flight Medic. SPC Andon Erickson distinguished himself through acts of courage and selfless service while conducting medical evacuation missions under hostile fire. Without hesitation and with total disregard for his own safety, SPC Erickson rendered life-saving aid to multiple wounded Soldiers while exposed to enemy fire. His swift actions, composure under pressure, and expert medical care directly contributed to the survival of critically injured personnel. SPC Erickson’s valor, dedication to duty, and commitment to saving lives reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the United States Army.

SPC Erickson has been at the forefront of the detachment since he enlisted, he went Warrant and instantly became flight leader. The SPC was always ready for new taskings, serving the unit with extreme pride and honor. After discussing the ultimate need of a Lifeline medic, the then WO1, has stepped forward to accept a demotion from WO1 down back to SPC and is now the LifeLine Doc. The SPC has however not stopped with his leadership, and has instantly taken SPC Meadows under his wing, and trained him from the ground up to become his assistant flight medic. Despite the “demotion” Erickson has kept his professionalism he had from his warrant time, and keeps applying it in the E4 realm. Erickson’s dedication and selflessness to the unit cannot be underestimated.
