For exceptionally meritorious achievement while serving in Platoon leadership throughout the calendar year 2025, each of the individuals recognized demonstrated outstanding performance, significantly contributing to the overall success of the Company. Their commitment to learning and adaptability ensured seamless integration within the Company's standards and operations. The efforts of these individuals have been instrumental in fostering clear communication, shared objectives, and disciplined execution across the formation. The Platoon leadership upheld unit standards, developed future leaders, managed multiple elements, and consistently led from the front during both combat and DMOS operations. Their influence and support have been vital to the development and professionalism of over 70 personnel, ensuring the unit remains at the forefront of excellence over the last 11 months of FTX and operations. Without their dedication, resilience, and focus, our Platoons and Company would not have achieved the current level of success we currently have seen. Each individual mentioned has made sacrifices that surpass the expectations of service within the unit, regardless of whether they were formally in position or temporarily fulfilling roles. During mission Sparta (Airborne) some elements of 1st and 2nd Platoon were surrounded forming a makeshift CCP in the town as ISIS-SP Fighters tightened the noose around the scattered elements of 1st and 2nd platoon.. SSG Ivanov quickly thinking ordered SGT Starling to seize an abandoned Marine MRAP, the two manning the vehicle drove through the still hostile town to the makeshift CCP, SSG Ivanov got out of MRAP, commanded all personnel to get severely injured personnel to MRAP, while barking orders SSG Ivanov made himself a target for snipers and machinegunners and was seriously wounded, without hesitation SSG got back to MRAP and started providing covering fire with 50cal. Drawing more fire to himself but allowing the loading of injured personnel. While laying down covering fire SSG was wounded several more times. With all wounded on board, SSG gave the order to move out back to the embassy. After getting back and unloading the wounded, SSG Ivanov, knowing those he left behind at the CCP did not have much time left, denied medical attention ordering SGT Starling to turn around the vehicle and drove back into enemy fire to rescue the remaining personnel still at CCP.
