12 APR 2026 - Company Evaluation - Defensive Operations

Mission Summary:

War Eagles deploys to West Zagoria to conduct Company Evaluations on Defensive Operations. Overall evaluation will be on all three Platoons (Widowmakers, Griffins, and Outlaws) ability to work together and mutually support each other in support of a Company mission.

Enemy Situation:

Enemy forces consist of roughly one Company of poorly trained militia and two Companies of conventional forces. These Companies will conduct offensive operations to secure the Airbase in the Southwest corner of the AO. They will be organized into three main groups: Reconnaissance, Advanced Guard, and Main Effort.

Reconnaissance will consist mainly of the poorly trained militia Company. Currently we anticipate they will conduct a Reconnaissance by Fire to identify our strength in the AO. They are a motorized Company that consists primarily of 4-5 x BRDM-2s and roughly 3 x Platoons of Light Infantry.

Advanced Guard will consist of conventional units and the remainder of the Reconnaissance element. Currently we anticipate they will conduct a dispersed attack to identify the path of least resistance through our defensive positions. We anticipate this element to consist of 2-3 x BTR-60s and 3-4 x Typhoon’s with 3 x Platoons of Heavy Infantry. We also anticipate Mortar support with this echelon as they progress through the AO (no more then one mortar strike at a time).

The Main Effort will consist of conventional units and remainder of the previous two waves. Currently we anticipate they will conduct a deliberate attack along the identified route from the advanced guard to conduct disruption operations in our rear area. We anticipate this element to consist of 3-4 x K-17s and 3-4 x Technicals with 3 x Platoons of Heavy Infantry. We anticipate a large increase of Mortar support with this echelon as they progress through the AO (more then one mortar strike at a time).

Company Mission:

War Eagles will conduct a defensive operation in the AO NLT 12APR26 in West Zagoria IOT be evaluated in their ability to conduct defensive operations as a combined arms element.

War Eagles will conduct two defensive tasks to accomplish this:

1. PL Yellow through PL Blue- Defense in Depth
   1. War Eagles will hold Battle Positions A through the Reconnaissance Echelon.
   2. War Eagles will transition to Battle Positions B during the Advanced Guard Echelon
2. PL Yellow- Strong Point Defense
   1. War Eagles will hold Battle Positions C during the Main Effort.

Notes: 

• Battle positions A will not go East of PL Red
• Battle Positions B will not go East of PL Green and will not be East of Raziry City
• Battle Positions C will not go East of PL Yellow

Tasks to Subordinate units:

• Widowmakers:
  • Conduct defense in depth between PL Yellow and Blue
  • On Order, Conduct strongpoint defense at PL Yellow
• Griffins:
  • Conduct screen to identify between PL Red and Blue
  • On Order, Conduct a Screen to Disrupt between PL Green and PL Red
  • On Order, Conduct Screen to Disrupt between PL Yellow and PL Green. Be Prepared To conduct a Rearward Passage of Lines through Widowmakers towards the FOB
• Outlaws:
  • Build a hasty defensive positions at Battle Position A.
  • Build deliberate defensive positions at Battle Positions B and C.
  • Establish a R3P (Re-arm, Re-fuel, Re-supply Point) at Battle Positions B and C
  • Provide logistical support to Widowmakers and Griffins Platoon as needed in the AO
