What is Friendly Fire Friday?
Social public sessions on Fridays, where people from the entire community can come and join in and get a small taste of how it is to wear the stripes in a MILSIM unit like ours.
We use to have this before, and saw some new faced within the unit by it.
Who can join?
Everyone! Both inside and outside of Fort Stewart.
Would only need someone from the unit to greet the new ones.
How to get new players notified?
Multiple ways. Both on #ARMA discord in Multiplayer Events channel and different forums. Alot of players there looking for someone to play with.
Benefit vs Cost?
I strongly believe the unit would benefit from it by both by getting new players in, but also letting members from the unit try out new positions / roles in a unofficial way.
It would cost the unit to open a new server if we dont fire up one of the three we have already.
What do you think? Is it worth a try?
I've been playing Arma Reforger for a while now, in and off from multiple server such as WCS, Old Guys and others, and for what i've been able to see is that they get a lot of new players into those groups thanks to their Public servers
Currently there are a lot of players that are looking to play PVP Conquest, but that would also love to try Game Master PvE. I Think having a day of the week such as Fridays to open a Game Master PvE or even a Conquest PvP would be great to get the Reforger playerbase to know us more and so that, get more people into the 3rd ID community..
Just by having our own Game Master PvE or Conflict (Conquest) PvP going public at any time/hour (or at least one day of the week) will bring players interested in the unit
