Situation

We have received intel from a Livonian officer who is willing to part with vital information about their troop movements in the region and their future plans, along with other important documents. You are to be dispatched and to retrieve the intel, though we do know the Livonians are also aware of this.

Mission

Not long ago, S2 received reliable intel that a Livonian officer wishes to defect or at least provide us with information. We will be dispatched to his location to secure said intel and retrieve this person if possible. You will be dropped behind enemy lines, so stealth should be of importance for as long as it is possible to maintain. We know that the enemy are aware of this Officers intent to defect and have dispatched forces to apprehend him. You are therefore in a race against time in securing this officer and his intel. 

OBJ Forlorn Hope is where the Officer has said he will be to await Widowmakers. Forlorn Hope is an old abandoned military facility that you will need to make your way to and secure if need be. S2 is sure that there are no enemy units stationed there, so the officer should be alone within the compound. Though due to the enemy knowing of this betrayal, they are likely to send a considerable force to deal with this traitor and anyone who tries to help him.

S2 is unsure about infantry numbers, but with the entire area being in partial enemy hands and Air control, we estimate there to be considerable forces that can be deployed, though the time will vary of each of these areas to muster their units. There is intel about a heavy presence of AA and possible APC's and transport carriers. BTR's, BMP's, ETC. There is also enemy air in the region, so beware that should you be spotted you may be accompanied by enemy air assets, though we firmly believe they have only access to transport carriers and not Hinds. 

For this mission you will be airdropped in and for a fair part of the mission, reinserts will have to be conducted the same way. This means high altitude drops. Once you have captured your intel, you will make your way to the designated area where 3CAB will have the extract area secured and waiting for your arrival.
