    Patrol #13

    Situation

    Last Sunday, the Russian Federation began an invasion of Lithuania from Kaliningrad. The Turkish 66th Mechanized Brigade HQ and HQ Battalion was all but wiped out, and Alpha Company hit hard at FOB Rocky. Russian armored columns continue to advance northeast and east to former a pincer around Kaunas and Vilnius. Lithuanian military and government operations has been severely disrupted in the border regions as additional Russian forces stream into the country. The Lithuanian NATO Security Force is conducting a full mobilization, with an additional mechanized battalion of the 2nd Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group deploying to NATO Joint Base Kozlovo near Kaunas. Lithuanian Lithuanian National Defence Volunteer Forces are activating another 10,000 men this week to help defend the capital.

    Intel recovered in the AO from multiple sources shows a build up of Russian VDV forces on the three islands northwest of NATO Joint Base Arnoldstein. Enemy positions incorporate AA, rocket artillery, mortars, mechanized formations, and airborne troops on these islands.

    Mission

    Alpha Company "War Eagles" is ordered to continue clearing Panthera of Russian, Wagner Group, and separatist forces. Ground objectives are:

    1. OBJ Andropov has a small airport that Wagner Group forces are using to move and stage men and equipment;
    2. OBJ Brezhnev contains several artillery and mortar positions identified by the 66th Mechanized Brigade; and
    3. OBJ Chernenko has armed personnel garrisoned in Porto Pyano, which are suspected Wagner Group smuggling operatives.

    3CAB is tasked with recon, CAS, insert/extract, and resupply functions. Air insertion may be needed on one or more of the objectives.

    Although NATO Joint Base Arnoldstein was destroyed, the NATO dockyard is untouched. Tactical assault craft remain in place for First Platoon's assaults on the objectives.
