    Ripple Effect

    Situation

Alpha Company has turned the tide against Iranian forces and sent them reeling northward. Within the first 24 hours of our movement across the border, War Eagles captured a major enemy airbase and rendered an artillery battalion and tank battalion combat ineffective. Tehran’s plan to invade Iraqi Kurdistan is now impossible.

Despite UN pressure, the Iranian government continues to claim that large areas of Iraqi territory belong to Iran due to historical and ethnic factors. Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has threatened to destroy the United States because of its continuous meddling in his nation’s affairs.

Iranian Republican Guard Corps missile forces are mobilizing nationwide and moving to positions in and around Reshmaan province. Last week, Rangers captured an Iranian 9P79 Tochka missile launcher and found intel indicating another Tochka is active in the AO. NATO has made these missile forces a top priority. While the warhead captured Sunday was conventional, the vehicle itself had traces of uranium on it, leading NATO IFC and S-2 to suspect that it may have been stored at one of Iran’s covert nuclear processing or storage sites.

    Mission

Alpha Company “War Eagles” is ordered to capture several Iranian army strongpoints located in the Lake Karida district. Artesh regulars from 5th Company, 2-5 Artillery Brigade hold the towns and villages at OBJ Clermont, OBJ Havasu, OBJ Tahoe, and OBJ Wolfeboro. Destroy enemy forces there to set conditions for follow-on missions in the western and northern zones.

POI Beaver includes Karida Dam and a nearby village. Recon elements should get eyes on the POI to determine if and how many hostile troops are there.

S-2 does not have intel indicating the enemy 9P79 “Tochka” we’re looking for is in the objective areas, but keep your eyes open for anything out of the ordinary. The Iranians are experts at concealing vehicles and artillery pieces.

First Platoon “Widowmakers” is tasked with destroying enemy forces in and around Objectives Clermont, Havasu, Tahoe, and Wolfeboro. Scour the objective area for intel including but not limited to cell phones, tablets, radios, laptops, maps, documents, photos, etc. Capture an EPW!

Second Platoon “Griffins” is tasked with force-oriented reconnaissance of the objective area including POI Beaver. If there are Iranian forces at the POI of section/platoon-size or larger, and/or with IFV/armor, engage as soon as possible with aviation support. Seize the dam.

Third Combat Aviation Brigade “Falcons” is tasked with reconnaissance, CAS, transport, resupply, and medevac as needed. We expect to see a number of hard targets including BTR/BMP, etc.
