    Situation:

    Enemy

Currently the 28th Mech Brigade is defending against the surprised enemy assault in the region in an attempt to delay coalition forces movement into Iran. The 28th Mech. Brigade currently is sitting at 90% combat power in the AO. 1-28th Mech BN currently has two organic Mech BNs, A/1-28 and B/1-28, that are acting as their main forces. An Armor Company, A/2-81, has been attached to the BN in response to War Eagles recent success to the East. Additionally the 28th Mech BDE has attached one Battery of D-30’s, one Cavalry Troop of BRDM’s, one company of GAZ TIGR’s, and one Battery of ADA in support of their operations in the East.

A/1-28 Mech: Currently is reinforced with Recon, ADA, and AT to delay War Eagles as much as possible to allow B/1-28’s defense to be established in the vicinity of Jalilah. A/1-28 will be conducting hasty defenses along major intersections while using civilian spotters to provide early warning.

B/1-28 Mech: Currently is establishing deliberate defensive positions East of Bahijah to block War Eagles and Bravo Company’s access from the East. They have been reinforced with Tanks and AA Teams to prevent freedom of maneuver for Air and Armor assets.

A/2-81 AR: The Attached Armor Company is currently serving as the Battalions reserve and has been given the Artillery Battery, remnants of the Cavalry Troop,ADA Battery.  and the Infantry Company. They are not expected to be utilized unless Coalition Forces break through their initial defensive lines.
