    Mission: True Strike

    Situation

    Friendly Situation:

A/1-21IN: War Eagles Company has successfully cleared up to PL Gin and is ahead of schedule of coalition forces to seize the town of Bahijah in the East. Due to recent success they are being tasked to exploit their success and continue to attack west to try and catch the Iranian forces off guard. The Company's next major operation is to identify a clear route through Zaleekah and its surrounding farmlands for Coalition forces to utilize on the final assault of Bahijah

B/1-21 IN: Bravo Company has continued to see major setbacks attacking north to the City of Dilshad. Due to this and the Polish Mechs failure in the East, they have been tasked to assist and assume and maintain the defensive positions West of Hadassah that were identified by War Eagles Company. They will provide security to War Eagle Company East of their position to allow combat power to be built for the eventual assault on Bahijah.

10th Polish Mech: The Polish forces are currently staying in a defensive posture to allow for armored forces to arrive from the West so they can counter the 2-81 AR BN. They have utilized their Infantry to establish ambush locations north of Kallista to prevent Iranian forces from attacking the town. Anticipation is that their reinforcements will arrive in about three weeks when they will resume their attack north.

A/1-41 FA: 3rd ID has sent a Battery of Paladins into the AO to support operations in response to the amount of enemy indirect fires experienced from the Iranians in the past few weeks. They are currently stationed South of Jabirah and are in general support to all units in the area of operations.

Enemy Situation across the Area of Operations:
The 28th Mech Brigades defense has been successful in the Western and central portions of the AO although they have seen some setbacks in the East. The focus of the 2-81 AR BN has been instrumental to the delay of Polish forces moving North to Balijah. 2-64 IN BNs counter mobility obstacles and minefields have successfully blocked US forces from moving towards Dilshad and have begun digging the city in along the western, eastern and southern sides. The 1-28 Mech BN is the only unit seeing major setbacks as they fight the coalition forces. Recently they lost the major roadways and towns in vicinity of Hadassah and Sa Diyah. Their continued setbacks may turn the 28th Mech BDE’s focus towards the East if they continue to see defeats in this part of the AO as coalition forces move closer to the City of Bahijah. The 3-28 Mech BN has continued to dig in the surrounding area of Bahijah but is beginning to reposture their forces for future operations. There is no other intel on where they may be repositioned to next, but intel suggests they are mobilizing to retake the City of Kallista.

    1-28th Mech Battalion:
1-28th Mech BN currently has two organic Mech BNs, A/1-28 and B/1-28, that are acting as their main forces. An Armor Company, A/2-81, has been attached to the BN in response to War Eagles recent success to the East. Additionally the 28th Mech BDE has attached one Battery of D-30’s, one Cavalry Troop of BRDM’s, one company of GAZ TIGR’s, and one Battery of ADA in support of their operations in the East.

A/1-28: Due to the recent fighting, A/1-28 is currently sitting at roughly 20% combat power and has retrograded to the West to re-consolidate combat power. We anticipate their forces will be used to reinforce the B/1-28.

B/1-28: Due to the failure of A/1-28, B/1-28 has transitioned from building up their deliberate defensive positions to conducting a deliberate defense against War Eagles Company. They are establishing ambush locations tied in with their already built obstacles and attempting to restrict War Eagles axis of advance through these ambush locations to attrit their forces and prevent a potential assault on Bahijah from the East. We currently do not have any situational awareness of their Obstacle locations outside of earthen ramparts and trenches built to restrict movement around the town of Zaleekah and the farm fields surrounding the area. Recent intelligence has seen a high presence of Ural transportation trucks moving through the farm fields to the west of the town and it is expected they are being used to emplace minefields and other obstacles.

A/2-81: The Attached Armor Company is still serving as the reserve for the Battalion. A majority of their forces are observed in the town of Marzuqah but there is currently a Platoon of Recon and T-72 tanks unaccounted for. We are not sure if they were retasked to support one of the other fronts or if they are hiding to flank coalition forces as they advance to the East.

    Mission

War Eagles will conduct an Attack to seize the a roadway heading west to Bahijah NLT 22OCT23 in order to prepare for Coalition forces to attack the City of Dilshad and cut off Iranian forces staged south in Dilshad and Afaf. On order the Company will reposition back to their Patrol Base in preparation of the combined assault with B/1-21 IN as they move the defensive line to PL Rum.

    Task to Subordinate Units

    Widowmaker Platoon:

Conduct an Attack to seize OBJ’s Ares and Hermes, the major roadway heading West to Bahijah for the future assault of the City.

Conduct an Attack on OBJ Zeus to clear enemy forces and civilians from the town of Husna

Emplace an anti armor minefield on the major roadway in OBJ Zeus that runs South to prevent Iranian forces from sending forces South during the Attack on the city of Bahijah in the upcoming weeks.

Identify a route that is usable for Coalition forces to use for the assault on the city of Bahijah. This route will be essential for our following week's operation.

    Griffins Platoon:

Conduct an Area Reconnaissance IVO OBJ Zeus to identify enemy ambush locations and Battle positions for any counter attack forces from the North.

Conduct an Area Reconnaissance of OBJ Ares and Hermes to identify obstacles that are emplaced to delay Coalition forces movement to the West.

Conduct a Zone Reconnaissance South of the major roadways to ensure the enemy has not positioned any combat forces to exploit Widowmakers attack to the East.

Be prepared to establish a screenline to delay along PL Rum with the support of 3CAB in order to prevent enemy forces from committing their reserve elements to spoil Widowmakers operations.

    3CAB:

Provide CCA (Close Combat Aviation) for Widowmakers and Griffins as they conduct offensive operations between PL Vodka and PL Gin.

Screen along PL Rum to identify and delay 1-28 Mech BN’s reserve from spoiling War Eagles operations.

Be prepared to provide aerial resupply to B/1-21 IN’s patrol base in the center portion of the AO if necessary. These flights will require an armed escort to ensure transportation crafts saftey while delivering the supplies.
