    Iron Harvest

    Situation

A/1-21IN: War Eagles Company has now established a new position North of Dilshad for a follow on attack. Coalition forces have now found themselves in a position where they can use a multi-directional attack on the City of Dilshad to ensure its capture is successful. War Eagles Company will partake in a large multi-staged attack on the City to confuse enemy forces and split them up. War Eagles will split their Air assets off to assist with the feint from the South by B/1-21 IN. Once the enemy has committed a majority of their forces to the South, War Eagles will then attack the City of Dilshad from the North.

B/1-21 IN: Bravo Company is currently managing the defense along PL Gin as well as conducting a Feint in the South of the City of Dilshad. Since they are under strength across multiple areas, they will focus on directing the enemies focus on the South to ensure the success of War Eagles attack from the North on the City of Dilshad. They will stage prior to War Eagles step off and will assume the attack when War Eagles have reached their staging position. Once the enemy’s reserve is committed to the South against the feint, B/1-21 will coordinate with 3CAB elements to provide support and ensure they are not defeated by overwhelming force.

10th Polish Mech: The Polish forces are now back to full operational capabilities and are staging for the next phase of the Coalitions mission. They will postpone and offensive operations until the City of Dilshad is taken by War Eagles to ensure they are not flanked from the East. They are currently organizing their forces for the next phase and are on stand by until the City is fully secured.

A/1-41 FA: 3rd ID has sent a Battery of Paladins into the AO to support operations in response to the amount of enemy indirect fires experienced from the Iranians in the past few weeks. They are currently stationed South of Jabirah and are in general support to all units in the area of operations.

Enemy Situation across the Area of Operations:

28th Mech BDE has been caught caught off with the redirection of War Eagles Company to the City of Dilshad and the reinforcement of T-72’s to 10th Polish. Currently 28th Mech BDE is reorganizing their forces to deter the 10th Polish Mechs attack North to Bahijah as well as re organizing their reserve elements for future operations. With 3-28 Mech BN assuming the defense to the East of Bahijah, 1-28th has been tasked to Bahijah to reconsolidate and reinforce their elements to act as the Brigades reserve. 2-81 Armor BN is currently holding their defensive positions in the West to prevent 10th Mech Polish from advancing and have begun deliberate operations to dig into the area they control North of Kallista. 2-64 Infantry BN is currently still holding defensive positions to the south of Dilshad with their attached BMP Company but has the remainder of their forces defending Dilshad due to the new threat from the North. We anticipate that until any attack on Dilshad occurs, 28th Mech BDE will continue to direct forces and support to 2-81 Armor BN.

    2-64th Infantry Battalion:

2-64th INF BN currently has two organic INF Companies, B/2-64 and C/264, and one AT Company, D/2-64,  that are the main forces. A Mech INF Company, C/1-28, has been attached to support the Battalions defense of the town of Dilshad. Additionally, one Company of Recon, one Platoon of D-30s, one Battery of dismounted AA TM ‘s,  and one Company of MI-24s with UAS support has been attached to the 2-64th INF BN for support in their defense of Dilshad.

B/2-64: This element is currently emplacing defensive positions north of Dilshad due to the threat from the North. They have been reinforced with the remainder of the C/2-64 that has retrograded South to the City and has been reinforced with a company of Anti Armor assets to help defend against the new threat. We anticipate that a majority of their forces will re-orient North unless they see enemy forces moving from the South.

C/2-64: This Company has seen major setbacks in the North and has fully retrograded from their positions into the City of Dilshad. They have been tasked under B/2-64 to assist with the threat from the North. They will integrate into the defense as directed from B/2-64. Due to the major loss of their combat power (estimated 5-10% remain) they will primarily act as additional manpower in the city and as observers.

D/2-64: This Company is currently split up among the other maneuver companies and the headquarters is currently serving as the reserve HQ for 2-64 INF BN. Currently they are stationed in Rufaidah and are in control of coordinating support from the attached Artillery, Aviation, and reserve forces of the BN. Their primary task is to coordinate support as necessary and react to operations from the coalition forces as directed by the 2-64 INF BN. Currently they tasked another Anti Armor Company to B/2-64 to assist with the threats coming from the North. We anticipate they will respond to the first threat (North from War Eagles or South from B/1-21 IN) as soon as they see signs from Coalition forces.

C/1-28: This Company has positioned itself to the south of the City of Dilshad and has been successful in defeating B/1-21 IN’s movement North. They have hardened battle positions in the town of Derya, Wahbiyah, and Salimah facing South that are tied in well with obstacles along the mountain passes. They have not been repositioned and are expected to stay focused on the South since the threat from B/1-21 IN has remained.

    Mission

War Eagles will conduct an attack to secure the OBJ Dragonfly and OBJ Spider NLT 12 NOV 23 in order to defeat 2-64 INF BN’s strong point defense in the central portion of the AO. Additionally, War Eagles Company is tasked to provide CCA (Close Combat Aviation) to B/1-21IN as they conduct their Feint north of PL Whiskey in EA’s Moth, Bee, and Wasp.

    Task to Subordinate Units

    Widowmaker Platoon:
Conduct an attack to secure the City of Dilshad

Secure the enemy’s HQ in the City of Dilshad to obtain intel on 28th Mech BDE’s defense in the Area

Secure the Airfield in the City of Dilshad to allow 3CAB the ability of transporting equipment and stage for future operations.

    Griffins Platoon:
Establish a Screenline to identify when the enemies reserve forces commit to the Feint by B/1-21 IN in the South.

Conduct an Area reconnaissance on the Northern portion of the City of Dilshad to identify enemy defensive positions and an access point for Widowmakers to enter the city from

Conduct a raid of the enemy’s reserve HQ in vicinity of OBJ Spider to obtain intel on their operations in the area once their forces are committed to the defense.

    3CAB:
Provide CCA (Close Combat Aviation) for B/1-21 IN’s feint in EA’s Moth, Bee, and Wasp to ensure they are not defeated by overwhelming force. All approvals to engage will come from Company Leadership on FREQ 35.

Be prepared to transport 5 crates of ammunition and any replacement vehicles B1-21 IN needs after their Feint in the South is successful.

Be prepared to transport replacement vehicles and fortification crates to the Airport in the City of Dilshad once it is secured. This will be vital for staging 3CAB equipment to the new location for future operations.

    Rules of Engagement:

Civilians can not be engaged unless they show hostile intent or are approved by Company Leadership. Due to recent incidents, any incidents that violate the ROE will result in revocation of assets for future operations.

    - Due to recent overuse of munitions for our drone, 3CAB is limited to a total of 9 Hellfire missiles during the operation.

    - Coalition forces have identified that operational level Anti-Air assets have been detected in the vicinity of the AO. AGL Altitude for all aerial assets is 2000 meters. Anything higher could trigger them utilizing those Anti-Air assets.
