    Event details

    Situation

A/1-21IN: War Eagles Company is going to clear the mountain pass for the 10th Polish Mech prior to the assault into the city. The Company will eliminate enemy forces in the mountain pass to let the 10th Polish Mech move up to kill the initial forces in the City of Bahijah. The Company will then clear the City and secure the enemy HQ in the City.

B/1-21 IN: Bravo Company has been fully tasked with the defense along PL Gin due to the increased threat from the 3-28th Mech BN. They are currently overmatched by enemy forces and are currently set up to just conduct defensive operations. Coalition forces have determined that any further attacks from the East would be too costly.

10th Polish Mech: The Polish forces will wait for the pass to clear and then will attack through the mountain pass to assist with the initial assault on Bahijah. Once War Eagles moves into the City the Polish Mech Company will then move to the East side of the City to prevent 3-28 Mech BN from counterattacking War Eagles Company.

Enemy Situation Across the Area of Operations:

28th Mech BDE has given up on retaking the City of Dilshad and lost their stronghold in the western portion that contained the 10th Polish Mech. They have also lost the remainder of 2-64 IN and have collapsed 2-81AR into the City of Bahijah. We anticipate that their main objective is to secure the city and inflict as many casualties as possible as they defend the City. Since this is the last stronghold of the AO, we anticipate they will reinforce whatever front they see an attack from they will reinforce from the other front. 3-28 Mech BN is still in the East, 2-81 AR BN is currently guarding the mountain pass in the South, and 1-28 Mech BN is occupied in the city. The Brigade as a whole is sitting at roughly 30% strength.

28th Mech is currently holding the defense of the City of Bahijah with one Company of Tanks, One Platoon of BMP’s, One Company of Infantry, and two companies of Recon. They also have the remainder of two companies of Helicopters and a Platoon of D-30’s in support of the defense

2-64 IN: This element has been fully defeated and is no longer considered part of the operation.

2-81 AR: This Batalion is sitting at 30% strength with one Company of tanks remaining (at most). They are focused on the mountain pass between Elmas and the City of Bahijah. We do anticipate that if they take enough losses they will retrograde into the City.

3-28 Mech: This Battalion is sitting at 2 Companies of BTR’s and one Company minus T-72's. They are currently established on a defense in the East due to Coalition forces' presence on PL Gin. They are ready to be retasked to the city if necessary but will hold position until the 28th Mech Brigade begins to lose the city.

1-28 Mech: This Battalion is currently sitting at one company of personnel with 5-8 BMP’s. This Battalion is the unit currently garrisoned in the City and is focused on inflicting as many casualties as possible against Coalition forces. We see large amounts of obstacles in the city to disrupt Coalition forces and we believe this will be used in conjunction with ambushes and minefields.

    Mission
