    Objectives

    NATO Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum has directed 3rdID to link up with the Turkish 66th Mechanized Brigade at Joint Base Arnoldstein. From there, Ground and Air Commanders from Alpha Company and the 66th will divide responsibilities and objectives on the three small islands northwest of Arnoldstein. Turkish Commander COL Koray Erdel has intelligence on Wagner Group positions on each of these islands. Formulate a plan of attack with Turkish forces and clear all enemy forces on the objectives:

    1. OBJ Andropov has a small airport that Wagner Group forces are using to move and stage men and equipment;

    2. OBJ Brezhnev contains several artillery and mortar positions identified by the 66th Mechanized Brigade; and

    3. OBJ Chernenko has armed personnel garrisoned in Porto Pyano, which are suspected Wagner Group smuggling operatives.

    NATO maintains a dockyard with several tactical assault craft available for First Platoon's assaults on the objectives. 3CAB is tasked with recon, CAS, insert/extract, and resupply functions. Air insertion may be needed on one or more of the objectives.

    Accidents

    Areas of Weakness

    Command regression takeovers (2IC, 3IC, 4IC),  convoy procedures - Only 4 within the squad are experienced drivers and 3 of them are on squad leadership roles.

    Suggested Improvements

    NA, platoon moved accordingly from my point of view.

    Mission Summary

    During the preparation stage, 4th squad "Phoenix" and the platoon were attacked by Russian air assets partnered with Russian ground forces mainly coming from the wester part of the airfield. 4th squad was assigned to cover the South West of the airfield and took out an enemy MI-24 Hind using a javelin and about 5 squads worth of Russian infantry that tried to push the FOB.  After an intense firefight, things calmed down and we were able to repel the Russian attack.

    The platoon then stepped off from the FOB to the Nato Joint Base where the platoon dismounted just south of the airfield. We then cleared town after town taking substancial casualties along the way until we were able to push on to RP1 to start the assault on the NATO base that were taken over by the Russian forces.  Upon leading from the front towards the staging area, 4th squad "Phoenix" had a mass cass incident due to well covered and concealed BTR's behind foliage that took out the squad on an open field.

    Upon reconsolidating after the KIA's were dropped off, we then pushed the NATO base together with the platoon and cleared it out of enemy hostiles.
