    Objectives

First Platoon “Widowmakers” is ordered to move to Beketov City Hall to meet with mayor Andreas Stroganovich. Platoon HQ will transfer a cash aid supplement to the mayor in order to facilitate rapid rebuilding of the city.

Once this is complete, First Platoon will split into sections to patrol OBJ Kid Gloves and OBJ Charmer, clearing any residual Russian forces. In the absence of enemy contacts, distribute aid to civilians and work to improve good will between Lithuanians and Americans. Civilians could potentially have information on enemy forces in the area.

3CAB “Falcons” is ordered to transport 3x HMMWV from FOB Murphy to the Beketov Stadium (OBJ Torch Bearer)  for use by NATO security forces. Once this is complete, air elements will provide overwatch and support to ground forces.

    Areas of Strength

Good combat and medical capabilities as a squad. Communications is on point and the execution of squad leadership commands are at par to expectations.

    Areas of Weakness

Directions when map markers are not placed. Relying on communication directives alone can sometimes be understood differently. Therefore upon self evaluation, SL will try to place more map markers when giving major directives prior to execution when able.

    Suggested Improvements

Taking time to survey the objective prior to executing a planned assault to make the changes on initial plans based on the observation reports to prevent unnecessary casualties. (but due to time constraints, it is understandable if this cannot be executed constantly)

    Mission Summary

Widowmakers stepped off on a striker convoy to head over to the southern objectives.  The platoon split off as the squads prepped and executed their respective patrol areas.  As 4th squad "Phoenix" patrolled from North to South, we were able to take head on enemy contacts from the town of "Malaevo".  Some Russian troops were dropped off in the area by an MI-8 Russian helicopter. I personally did not take it down when it was on top of the village to avoid collateral damage wherein it was able to successfully drop enemy troops in the town. Upon taking off, we I shot down the MI-8 outside of the town and CPL Kidon took out an enemy vehicle with the Javelin in an open field while the M2 stryker took out an armored vehicle as well prior to us pushing the town wherein foot soldiers were seen.

Upon clearing the town, I was able to speak to a person who lived in the town by the name of "Mechael" 30+ years of age and reported 10-20 foot soldiers with urals who has taken over a school on a neighboring town to the North East which was the town of "Shpagino".  Arial survey did confirm the hostile targets. Since the rest of the platoon was engaged, 4th squad set up a blocking position and waited for re-enforcements to arrive prior to clearing the town.

Upon the rest of the platoon arriving to re enforce our position, 4th squad went in and cleared the town and school together with the other squads. We have found a laptop containing intel but took a few casualties on the process.

After the platoon reconsolidating, we then moved further east to OBJ "Charmer" wherein the whole platoon ended up assaulting together. During the process, Platoon leadership went down and I had to take over to coordinate an assault on the remaining enemy contacts and provided a 360 security afterwards. CPL Kidon was then in charge of the squad at this point.

3CBA was then assigned for the exfil and we were brought back to the FOB for debriefing.
