    Objectives:

Destroy 2 armored columns that are treathening the city of Marwey

    Accidents:

    WIA: 2LT J.Drake Lost 1 stryker HMG w/ plow, 1 stryker HMG.

    Areas of Strength:

Anti-Tank: The mission was to destroy enemy armor, squads adapted their loadouts and equipment to the mission requirements. Enemy tanks and armored vehicles were swiftly destroyed. Jungle combat: First platoon has adapted well to fight in the jungle. We took less casualties and were able to engage the enemy more efficiently.

    Areas of Weakness:

Waiting for x or y: On some occasions the entire platoon was waiting for one squad or 3cab to finish what they were doing. Better planning could have prevented this. Reaction to ambush: Our reaction to ambush could be improved. When first vehicle takes a hit the platoon could make the decision to instead of pushing through, fall back and not even enter the killzone in the first place.

    Suggested Improvements:

S2 has tweaked the AI, this had a positive result. They felt less overpowering in dense foliage.

    Overall Outcome:

    Positive

    Summary:

Widowmakers set out from FOB Iron Wall to the first armor column location near Gororop. When they got near the objective, they faced enemy roadblocks which was swiftly taken out by 3cab. Widowmakers pushed through the jungle, killing a few enemy patrols until they reached the edge of Gororop. Spartans engaged from the North while the rifle squads used the jungle as concealment and moved in close to the west and south-west.

The armored column was quickly destroyed. Widowmakers used a lot of ammo and called in a resupply. After reorganizing and resupplying the platoon reformed their convoy and moved to the second column which was deeper inside the jungle. On the way there, Widowmakers suffered a big enemy ambush. 2 of their vehicles were destroyed and a MCI swiftly followed. Squads reorganized and engaged the enemy while patching up the wounded.

They then continued to the armored column. The dense jungle gave Widowmaker squads the advantage of surprise and once again, all armor was quickly destroyed thanks to the additional MAAWS rocket launchers. Because the mission went so smoothly, Widowmakers once again reformed their convoy and opted to drive back to base instead of using a helicopter extract.

Overall, the mission was a great success and the safety of Marwey has been ensured.
