Areas of Strength
Spacing and teamwork were amazing. The new members fit in really well and stepped up when needed for the Squad. Very excited to see the potential of the Squad going forward.
Areas of Weakness
Attendance can always be higher and medical training needs to be hit on more for the new members.
Suggested Improvements
Recommended most of the new members sign up for CLS (most did) in order to improve medical knowledge. Also spoke with TL's about attendance issues as well as specific SMs that needed to be informed of the potential of being removed.
Mission Summary
Scorpions loaded in and dealt with a counter attack to the best of their abilities. Although hectic at first, once we got our feet beneath us we were able to provide effective fire on enemy forces. Once that was done we moved to OBJ Squirrel but ran into a minefield (one went off despite mine detectors not signaling they were near, Arma bug). After we recovered we were the first squad to make a foothold into the city and cleared effectively for the rest of the Platoon. A small counter attack caught us off guard but we were able to regroup and push back effectively. We then moved into OBJ Guinea Pig where we consistently cleared out sectors in an efficient manner to the point we were requesting to go ahead of the entire platoon at times. OBJ Marmoset had little resistance and took the squad roughly 6 minutes to clear their area. Overall the Squad performed very well and i was very happy to see Squad drills were paying off.
