Mission Summary

Spartans started the drills by going over the theory of squad formations and 360 security before practicing them with positive results. From there Spartans discussed convoy operations: convoy radio usage, how to set correct speed, covering sectors using mounted weaponry. Spartans then drove off towards the dismount point shown on the south eastern part of the attached map. En-route they encountered possible IEDs, actual IEDs, passing vehicles, and a blockade all of which were passed with success. Spartans dismounted before a Polish checkpoint and have successfully identified they were Polish before moving inside and commandeering an awaiting Stryker. From there Spartans moved towards OBJ Yennefer, clearing all buildings and town on the way. During that time one of the teams was dismounted while the other team, in a Stryker, followed behind to provide additional firepower. Eventually Spartans reached OBJ Yennefer and successfully cleared the Mecca which was the objective. Because of the general slowness of the squad we had to cut OBJ Triss out and decided to end at OBJ Yennefer but overall the squad performance was positive.
