Mission Summary

Spartans took a Stryker towards a training area that was set up to practice bounding and clearing buildings. After discussing the theory of these topics, as well as teaching new recruits how to employ their weapons, we practiced these topics until I was happy with their performance. Afterwards moved into a position where they can provide overwatch over an MSR through which enemy mechanized infantry is set to go through. The purpose of this section was for weapon practice. Unfortunately due to how long the first half of the training took, we were unable to continue our training which would have consisted of clearing a town to practice clearing buildings. Overall the performance of the squad was acceptable however the overwatch positions we picked did not allow us to be very effective. Next drills will most likely consist of discussing how to set up overwatch positions and putting that into practice.
