Objectives
(1) Secure OBJ TURQUOISE: The terminal of the Metsälä airfield. It is highly possible that a few military rotary aircrafts are present, reports show at least two MI-8 codename “Hip” in the main hangar. Platoon must be aware that if there are any hostages or civilians, they most likely are kept in this area.
(2) Secure OBJ INDIGO: We think that OBJ INDIGO, the fuel storage of the airfield, is rigged with explosives. The local Russian separatists, most likely plan to make the airfield unusable for a few weeks if they can’t occupy it. The platoon will have to secure and defuse any explosives in the area.
(3) Secure OBJ AZURE : We have reason to think that some command element of the Russian separatists are taking quarters in the Metsälä office complex. Those buildings must be cleared and any potential Intel must be secured.
(4) Secure Metsälä airfield for any possible counter offensive.

Mission Summary
Mission started at Camp Augustus where we mounted a Chinook together with half of 3rd Squad, together we landed on LZ Tiberius and headed towards OBJ Indigo.
Roughly 300m before reaching the OBJ, alpha team got eyes on a active BTR Guarding the road leading south. After taking care of the active BTR the squad moved into OBJ Indigo where we got under heavy enemy fire. After neutrulizing the hostiles at OBJ Indigo we held the runway and waited for further taskings.
After getting the Go-Ahead from Platoon HQ we started throwing smokes across the runway and making a tactical dash to the other side. On the othher side we move to the south western corner of OBJ Azure.
After the Go-Ahead we started pushing into the OBJ and making our way to the North East of the OBJ where we got engaged by the last remaining contacts in that OBJ.
After gahtering intel of a suspected counter offensive 4th Squad got tasked to move west out of the OBJ to a near by town called "Virpimaki" Where SPC Fives took out another active BTR meanwhile Bravo took care of footmobiles roaming the treeline.
After destroying the BTR and neutrulizing the footmobiles we got ordered to completely clear out the town and the nearby buildings. While Bravo took care of the town itself, Alpha moved with SSG Cooper and SPC Flannigan to the north of the town. At one point they got engaged by multiable enemy footmobiles, at one point they launched a RPG7 rocket at SSG Cooper, SPC Flannigan, SPC Fives, SGT Shade, SGT Abel and (then) SGT Gregoire. SPC Fives got knocked out meanwhile SSG Cooper and (then) SGT Gregoire suffered from heavy shrappnel damage and immense bloodloss, despide the heavy damage they've reseved they continued through the fight and counter attacked the RPG7 team as well as other mutliable enemies, with SGT Shade destroying potentioally active BTR.
After the counterattack the squad regrouped and started movement back towards the captured airfield. On their way we go ambushed by a Platoon sized element. After suffering heavy casualties withing Alpha team, and bravo team being heavly injured SGT Garcia took initiate and coordinated a counter attack with the last remaining soldiers. After succsessfully counterattacking the enemy SGT Garcia and his CLS, SPC Babol, managed to get every soldier back on their feed and safely make their way back to the Airfield.
At the Airfield we got EVAC'd by Workhorse, end of mission.
