    OVERALL CTC SUMMARY:

The Finnish Military has officially declared that all US and Swedish Forces in Finnish territory are considered hostile occupiers. As we saw last week, the Finnish Military had sided with the rioters on the mainland and overthrew the Government. Since then, Sweden and the US were awaiting their next steps to see what direction the military would go in before making their next move. Last week, the Finnish military on Napf conducted a surprise attack on the Norrland Dragoons and air striking the South Airstrip, killing all forces there. The Kainuu BDE has now officially begun operations to move their main forces onto the island. In the meantime, the Napf Irregular forces, that have been trained by the Finnish Military over the past month, are tasked with defending as close to Swedish and US forces as possible, containing them until the regular army arrives.

    1: Mission Summary:

War Eagles Company will attack to clear OBJ New Belgium, Red Stripe, and Corona. OBJ New Belgium is an old castle overlooking the airfield that needs to be cleared of any irregular forces. OBJ Red Stripe is the major harbor on the west side of Napf that needs to be secured so the mechanized elements of the Norrland Dragoons can get on the island. OBJ Corona is roadway that runs north to south that needs to be secured and cleared in order to allow friendly forces to obtain freedom of maneuver.

2: Enemy Situation (Area of Interest):

Kainuu BDE- Currently the Kainuu BDE is all located on a small island north east of Napf. They do have some small forces located on Napf, but a majority are loading onto ships to go to the city of Luzen.
In their place, there are three Battalions of Napf Irregular Guards located in the AO. One in the North based in the City of Seltisburg, one at the small military outpost east of Eggwil, and one in the Southern Area east of Hungerschwand. Their make-up and numbers are unknown at this time, but we can expect them to have old soviet equipment (BTR-60/70’s, BRDM-2s, the occasional T-72) and non standard woodland camouflage. We do expect the Finnish Forces to deploy some Reconnaissance elements forward to assist as well as provide air power where necessary to support the irregulars, but we believe this will only occur if the target is worth exposing their assets for. Any indirect fire support from Artillery or Mortars will come from equipment the Irregulars have.
Seltisburg Napf Irregulars- This BN is a motorized BN consisting of older model BTR’s and BMP’s. They are located in the city of Seltisberg and are tasked to secure the town of Muttenz from coalition force presence.
Liestal Napf Irregulars- This BN is a is a motorized BN consisting of older model BTR’s and light vehicles with crew served weapons on them. They are currently tasked at attacking to clear coalition forces all the way to the airfield in the west.
Hungerschwand Napf Irregulars-This BN is mostly light infantry and is primarily tasked with disrupting all forces along the southern portion of the island. Once Finland launched their surprise attack on the South Airstrip, this BN housed themselves in the area and captured the remaining swedish forces that were there.

3: Enemy situation (Area of Operation):

A Co/ Liestal Irregulars- Currently located in Romos to assist the Kainuu BDE with deployment onto the island.
B Co/ Liestal Irregulars- Currently in the small military base east of Eggwil building combat power and establishing defenses in and around Schangen,
C Co/ Liestal Irregulars- Currently has a platoon split between OBJ Red Stripe and OBJ New Belgium with a Platoon of AT in support. We believe they are sending a platoon of BTR’s to OBJ Red Stripe to build combat power for the attack south. They have a platoon of Mortars and AA ™’s IVO of the area to disrupt coalition forces.
D Co/ Liestal Irregulars- Currently located in the town of Liestal as the main force to delay friendly forces if C Co fails their task of clearing coalition forces at the Airfield.

4: Friendly Situation (Area of Interest):

Norrland Dragoons (Sweden)- Currently will hold security of the Airfield for the next week until conditions are set for their next step. Once the port of Worb is secure, they will relocate to the port and prepare their combined attack into the North
B/1-21IN- B Company is still infilling onto the airfield and will not be able to be part of the operation this week.
C/1-2IN- C Company will attack south across the mountain range to gain ground and protect the southern flank. Once they have secured up to PL Busch near Waldegg, they will hold position until Muttenz is secured.

    8: Rules of Engagement

    • Enemy uniformed personnel are free to engage within the assigned AO. Any engagements outside of the Company AO must be approved by Company leadership. No indirect fires (IDF, Aerial, and Mk19) within 250 meters of any building unless confirmed there is no civilian presence or approval from Company leadership.
    • Civilian allegiance is split on the island. Some favor the Finnish Militaries recent actions while others condemn it. If you interact with civilians, attempt to obtain knowledge of town allegiances in the AO, this will allow us to identify which areas will be friendly or hostile to Coalition forces.
    • Due to limitations of supply into the region, Hellfires on drones have been limited. Only 4 hellfires are authorized for this mission.
    • Due to Finnish operational level Air Defense Assets in the region, all military aircraft will be held to 1500 meters AGL or less. If they break that altitude they can be at risk of engagements from operational level Air Defense.
