Celebrating Captain Jannes Drake's retirement, a man who has been around multiple times and so far back that our current records do not even speak of his entry into the unit. His service extends years within this unit and the time he has offered to it with his dedication. A man who has covered many roles, earned dozens of awards throughout his tenures within this unit, a now Captain who has dedicated so much of his time to make this unit better and continue on its long lived legacy.

In his most recent tour with the 3rd Infantry Division Realism Unit, where he rejoined on March 1st of 2020, he quickly rose up through the ranks of the unit. By August 3rd of that same year he was already a Staff Sergeant. He then moved up the sergeant ranks later that same year until the next year where on June 7th he was promoted to Officer Candidate and the following month became Second Lieutenant. In his role as Second Lieutenant, later First Lieutenant, Captain J.Drake served as the leadership of the squads, the one who set the precedence for the rest of the unit around him. A man who served as an inspiration to many ,and a man who brought many laughs ,and a lot of enjoyment for many of us currently and previously in the unit.  Congratulations on your retirement Captain Jannes Drake and we wish you all the best!

      Hooah!
