Posted December 2, 2020 WARNORD 4DEC20 MIssion: Bird Dog 1. SITUATION Following the recent battle against Sahrani Liberation Army forces in Bagango, Queen Isabella spoke to the nation, stating that the communist insurgency had found a way to rise again from the ashes of the Civil War. She summarily outlawed membership in and material support of the SLA, designating it a terrorist organization. She ordered the National Police and the Royal Army Corps of Sahrani to arrest and detain all SLA affiliates. In a private ceremony, the Queen thanked the 3rd Infantry Division advisors who participated in the Second Battle of Bagango. She noted that without our assistance and our effectiveness, many more innocent people would have died. She requested further training courses for her army, and has allowed us to choose and plan which missions to lead while training the newly formed RACS counterinsurgency team. 2. MISSION Alpha Company will move from the airbase to link up with the RACS Counterinsurgency Team at RP Stubble in Bagango. From there, convoy northeast to OBJ Pheasant outside the village of Pita. The Royal Ministry of Intelligence reports that the SLA is planning to attack Bagango by helicopter and may be operating a covert air strip at the objective. It is unknown whether the local population supports the SLA, although such support is generally high in the north. All civilians are presumed to be noncombatant unless they threaten us with deadly force. Clear the area of any SLA forces and secure captured enemy assets for transfer to RACS. 3.
