SITUATION After years of exile in Russia following their failed revolution against the Chernarussian democratic government, the remnants of the ChDKZ have begun to regain some military strength. CDF military intelligence had warned of an eventual reemergence of the Red Star communist insurgency, and it appears the day has come. But in a shocking brief, NATO forces reveal that worse, a ChDKZ commando cell has acquired fissile material and is building either a crude nuclear weapon or a dirty bomb. Stealthily retaking the island of Utes, 25km off the southeastern coast of Chernarus, Red Star forces have fortified the airbase there. US and NATO officials fear an imminent attack on South Zagoria. 2. MISSION MARSOC is ordered to assault Utes and raid the air base (OBJ Plutonium). Intercepted ChDKZ command net traffic and activity observed on base indicate the bomb is located in a fortified laboratory compound there. Seize the bomb and radio for helo extract. It is crucial to operate with speed, surprise, and violence of action. Follow-on forces will assault Utes to reinforce your extraction of the bomb. Secondary targets include the village of Strelka, the army base, the army camp, and the village of Kamenyy. Although sparsely populated, Utes does have a civilian presence.
