Posted August 11, 2021 WARNORD 13AUG21 Mission: The Battle of Corazol (OPFOR) 1. SITUATION We have struck back at Queen Isabella and her imperialist lackeys, and well done, comrades! For two months, RACS and their US masters have been attacking our bases wherever they find them. But it is clear that surprise was ours when we launched our assault on Corazol last night. How quickly the RACS soldiers fell! How anxiously the National Guard troops fled! Now that the capital is ours, we must continue strengthening our fortifications and hold out against the counter attacks which are sure to come. Thanks to our friends and supporters in Russia, we are ready. The Spetsnaz recon team that parachuted in Bagango last night has vowed to remain in the city to support our efforts. And though the 2nd Battalion lost many great men and women in the battle last night, two companies from the 5th Light Battalion are moving now to reinforce our northern flank. Our contacts in South Sahrani are reporting that 2 American C-130s have landed at the airbase in the past 12 hours, and that there now is a significant amount of movement of troops and equipment around Camp Coconut, which contains the US garrison. And so we wait for the attack. 2. MISSION Your platoon will defend the SLA HQ in Corazol at all costs. Protect CPT Salamanca and his staff from all possible threats. Coordinate operations with the Spetsnaz recon team on scene to prevent the city from being overrun by RACS and US forces. Be prepared to counterattack into South Sahrani if so ordered. 3.
