Mission: Hailstone
 
1. SITUATION
 
A Russian Army spearhead has thrust south into Chernarus, catching the Chernarussian Defense Forces by surprise. Moving quickly down the coastal highway, a Russian mechanized infantry brigade has captured the cities of Berezino, Solnichniy, and Elektrozavodsk. Fortifying their positions and taking advantage of a blizzard, the Russians have utilized the trainyard in Elektrozavodsk to bring in reinforcements.
 
Human and signals intelligence indicate that the Russian brigade is likely preparing to continue pushing west into Chernogorsk. Eyewitnesses in Elektrozavodsk report a significant build up of infantry and armor in the city. The CDF is converging on the capital to support its defense. CDF Special Forces Liaison LT Petr Rimkevic will coordinate with CDF HQ at Joint Base Cherni to support your mission.
 
2. MISSION
 
Team Bulldog, attached to the CDF 3rd Mechanized Infantry Brigade, is ordered to conduct an ambush on Russian forces moving west toward Chernogorsk. Establish an OP on Kozlov’s Peak (Pik Kozlova) and attack any Russian vehicles moving past your position. If possible, destroy enemy armor assets inside Elektrozavodsk.
