    WARNORD 22 OCT 21

    Mission: Grand Prix

    1. SITUATION

Summers in the Takistan district are hot and dry. Over the past month, Taliban contacts have been brief and sporadic, limited mostly to ambushes at dawn and dusk. Alpha Company has taken advantage of the limited enemy activity during the day and have patrolled aggressively throughout the AO.

    2. MISSION

The month’s relative calm was just broken by a call for support from NATO Joint Base Loy Manara. The Taliban have launched a complex attack on the airbase. First Platoon will move as QRF to reinforce the base. Ensure contacts are reported and tracked for further interdiction.
