Posted November 19, 2021 WARNORD 19NOV21 Mission: Bum Rush 1. SITUATION The Chernarussian Civil War rages on, with both sides entrenched and preparing for the coming winter. ChDKZ forces are concentrated along South Zagoria’s eastern seaboard and headquartered at Solnichniy, which has become a defacto insurgent capital. Recent intelligence reports show a build up of forces around Krasnostav and Berezino. CDF Commander GEN Novotny is convinced that the Chedaki will attack Elektrozavodsk before Christmas. In the wake of a firefight southeast of Novy Sobor between NATO and ChDKZ forces early yesterday morning, NATO Command has requested assistance rescuing/recovering a missing CIA operations officer, Code Name “Smoke”. A CIA Ground Branch team was reported killed in a helicopter crash on insert last night west of Solnichniy. Stunned by the loss, Langley is unable to insert a follow on team until tomorrow. 2. MISSION Charlie Company will conduct an airborne raid on Solnichniy (OBJ Bailout) to rescue/recover the missing CIA officer. The most recent intel report, compiled in conjunction with NAPA agents operating in the AO, indicates that Smoke may be held prisoner in the ChDKZ HQ within the objective. Given his value to the enemy, the Chedaki are likely to move or possibly kill him if we attempt to rescue him. Therefore, stealth, speed, surprise, and violence of action are key to mission success.
