Air Assault School Completion
The Air Assault School is intended to teach our soldiers techniques required for successful combat insertion via helicopter. Those who have completed the school are Air Assault qualified and shall be awarded the Air Assault Badge.

Airborne School Completion
The Parachutist Badge, also commonly referred to as "Jump Wings" or "Silver Wings" is a military badge of the United States Armed Forces awarded to members of the U.S. Army, U.S Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy.
Congratulations to the class of 19-01 (ARMA3) for completing the 3rd Infantry Division's Airborne School. Soldiers who have completed the school for the first time shall be awarded their Basic Parachutist Badge. Great job to everyone who attended. Hooah!

Today, the division and the Coastal Georgia community honored the sacrifice of CPL Joseph Maciel
Today, the division and the Coastal Georgia community honored the sacrifice of CPL Joseph Maciel from 1st Battalion 28th Infantry Regiment "Black Lions" By dedicating the 469th White Crape Myrtle tree to Fort Stewart's Warriors Walk. Maciel died July 7th, 2018 in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan while supporting Operation Freedom's Sentinel.
This is the field where warriors walk, It is here on this walkway that we remember our courageous Soldiers who demonstrated exceptional Valor, Honor and Respect for their army and their country. We will never forget!
