Posted February 25, 2020 (edited) WARNORD 28.02.2020 1. SITUATION During the past few weeks Russian Defense Force on the Island of Porto, engaged merchant ships who are going past this Island. US President Donald Trump approved a Exclusion Zone around the Island. In the reaction of a Russian submarine Severodvinsk (Graney class) engaging and sinking multiple US Warships, US Warships pulled out of the area, only 3 US Destroyers (Zumwalt Class) and 1 US Carrier (Gerald R. Ford Class) remain in the area. Now US President commanded a assault on the Island to end this threat. 2. MISSION1st Marine Special Operations Battalion will board USS Liberty and prepare for amphibious landing on the coastal town of Largo. Once the town is captured and defended from a possible counterattack, 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion will move to the city of Porto, and destroy the remaining pockets of defense. 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion will also try to locate a communications tower for the Island. Once found, tower should be destroyed as soon as possible to prevent possible Russian reinforcements and Air Support. The Island itself is heavily defended since 1988, so US Forces will be forced to use multiple Artillery Barrages, along with CAS and Bombing runs from 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment operating from US Carrier Gerald R. Ford, and Portugese mainland. 3. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS (a) SPECIAL TEAMS/TASK ORG 1. 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion 4. 160th Special Operations Aviation 5.
