Siege of Bastogne

1. SITUATION

Last week, the German launched a massive counterattack through the Ardennes Forest. They have formed a large salient in an apparent drive toward the port of Antwerp. Recovering from the initial shock and surprise, Allied Forces are fighting tooth and nail, but supplies, ammunition, and fuel are running critical low in some sectors. Bad weather and record cold have further hampered Allied efforts.
 

2. MISSION

You have been ordered to defend the crossroad town of Bastogne. Dig in and secure the northwestern flank. Prevent the Germans from entering the town.
